WELCOME

Welcome to the website for Twenty First Century Charter Schools, Inc, known in our community for over 25 years as Bennett Academy.   We are a small, free-public charter school in Phoenix, Arizona.  Our students are in grades Kindergarten – 8th grades.

 

 

Our supportive classroom environments enable our students to achieve high levels of academic success with confidence and competence.  We have an overarching focus on developing a student’s communication, critical reading, and thinking skills.

Bennett Academy

3rd – 8th Grade

We care about our students and they know it! We offer a challenging, coordinated, comprehensive educational experience with high expectations. Our 3rd-8th grade students enjoy getting involved in Theatre and our 5th-8th grade students love to participate in our competitive sports programs.

Bennett Academy – Venture Site

Kinder – 2nd Grade

We believe that a solid basic education using the Spalding method of reading and writing instruction will equip a student to be the best person he or she can be, now and in the future. This small peaceful community feels more like a family than a school.

PROGRAMS

ACADEMICS

At Bennett Academy our curriculum is broad and challenging based on the The E.D. Hirsch Sequence. Our instructional methods range from traditional, Direct instruction, hands-on learning. Bennett Academy prepares students for advanced high school classes, fulfilling careers, and life-long responsible citizenship.

ARTS

We offer a variety of Arts instruction and appreciation, from Visual Arts K-8, General Music K-2, and our award winning Theatre program 3-8. Students learn to express themselves through our high quality Arts programs.

ATHLETICS

The Bennett Academy competitive sports program is offered for grades 5-8. We hold championship titles in our large league. The sports that students can participate in are:  Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Cheerleading, and Soccer
