Welcome to the website for Twenty First Century Charter Schools, Inc, known in our community for over 29 years as Bennett Academy, and at Venture Site for 18 years. We are a small, free public charter school in Phoenix, Arizona. We are now accepting students in grades K – 3rd at Venture Site.

 

Our supportive classroom environment enable our students to achieve high levels of academic success with confidence and competence.  We have an overarching focus on developing a student’s communication, critical reading, and thinking skills.

 

This year we are enhancing our teaching approaches and curriculum to better include the needs and preferences of young children born during the Alpha Gen Era.

We believe that a solid basic education using tried and effective reading, writing, and arithmetic methods will equip students to perform with expertise and prepare him or her to easily access the curriculum in the classroom.

 

Our small, peaceful community with a warm, family-like atmosphere fosters an environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive. The teachers and administration have served this school for several years.

The Venture Site curriculum is broad and challenging and expanding.

It is based on three compatible, established, and effective approaches.

These are The Spalding Writing Road to Reading method, The Bennett Traditional strategies, and the Montessori model.

Wonderful school!!!! Switched my daughter here because her old public school just wasn't helping her, it was seriously understaffed and you could tell the teachers at her old school were seriously overwhelmed. Bennett Academy is a smaller school which is good because the teachers have more time to help students. They are very caring and every student and their family is treated like family. The school most definitely cares about each and every student, each student is treated like an individual. Thank you Bennett Academy staff for all of your hard work and dedication!!!!!!!!

My youngest child attended middle school at Bennett Academy in the early years. As a typical adolescent she had some difficulty. That is, she was a bit rebellious and troubled. After enrolling in Bennett Academy and some tough love at home my daughter blossomed into a well adjusted happy kid. Bennett Academy afforded my daughter a safe and friendly atmosphere which helped bring her around. She really loved the Bennetts and her teachers. I believe that her parents hard work and the foundation for learning and success she acquired at Bennett Academy were the primary reasons for her success in high school, and her career as a mortgage broker at a large bank. Further, in no small part did Bennett Academy contribute to my daughters success as a mother, a small business owner, and an asset to the small community where she lives.
